To convey this beautiful message of Christmas our school also joined in the celebrations and we the Sophian family celebrated it by spreading the light of love specially to the ones who need it the most Mr. Verendra Benial and Father Thomas were the special guests for the day. Christmas celebrations were in full swing as the school marked the day with a special assembly. The festive spirit was enjoyed by all. The day commenced by asking the blessings of the Almighty fallowed by Bible reading and a special prayer. The atmosphere reverberated with prayer songs and melody of carols junior and senior students participated in games and activities enthusiastically the end of the program Principal and the special guests distributed sweets and gifts to students and to the less privileged strata of the society.

This great man, Fortunatus Henri Caumont, was born at Tours, France, on December 10, 1871, to Monsieur Salvat Caumont and Madame Pauline Caumont. He became a priest in 1896 and came to India in 1897 to serve the people of Rajputana.

Fr. Fortunatus Henri Caumont was gifted with remarkable intelligence, an affectionate nature, keen foresight, and strength of character. He had a great desire to help the poor and needy, particularly women and girls who were the sick and suffering. Deprived of their rights.

We conducted a quiz competition for our students of class I to V regarding the Founder – Bishop Fortunatus Henry Coumont and Co-Founder Mother Mary Matilda of MSA. Students were taught about them and explained the motive of the school which they will imbibe in their individual lives and also shared their ideas and beliefs of empowering Women’s Education and their upliftment which motivated them to participate in this QUIZ with more enthusiasm.

It gives us immense happiness to share that this month Sophia Sr.Sec School got the opportunity to conduct a swimming competition( Boys and Girls) under 17 years/19 years of age which was conducted successfully. Our children also participated in the various district-levelsports tournaments.

About the policy- Children have the right to be protected from all exploitative and vulnerable situations. The child Protection Policy is meant to ensure that children attending our school are protected from physical, sexual and emotional abuse.

To spread awareness, a two days workshop was conducted in school to make everybody aware of the objectives of the Child Protection Policy, Child Abuse in the
Indian Context, Definition and Context of terms used in Child Protection Policy to
safeguard children not only physically but mentally too. An action plan was also formulated keeping all the necessary guidelines in mind.
 

While the digital era has opened up a world of opportunities, it has also exposed us to several threats too – including putting our private information at risk. Truly, the need for cybersecurity has never been more valuable than it is now. Cybercriminals can
reach their targets in any part of the world at any time and the last decade has seen a
rise in identity theft, loss of money, and data breaches. Seeing the technological world, its benefits and flaws, it has become very important to keep ourselves modernized and well acquainted with the technical terms. Keeping the same into
consideration, a workshop was conducted by Mr.Vikram Singh Jhala. The workshop
was undoubtedly very fruitful as he guided the staff about various. online perks and platforms. He also made the staff aware of online frauds and various conspiracies and how can one be careful and vigilant.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey
but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Our students of classes VI-VIII actively participated in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav wherein they expressed their views about Freedom Fighters based on the given theme for October. Let us dive into the aroma of being independent for 75
years.

To express our sincerest gratitude, a special assembly was conducted on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and our former prime minister of

Therefore, it is very important to keep ourselves hygienic and tidy to stay safe. This month, our children have come out with multifarious remedies of being safe and sterile through original pictures of personal hygiene and posters to keep the surroundings clean and green.
