Ever since the pandemic started— and its resultant lockdowns — the period has been difficult, and it continues to be so, especially, for mothers. Tasked with taking care of the house and juggling many responsibilities, mothers are often left exhausted.

This Mother’s Day, the celebrations were bound at home, as the city grapples with
the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and is under a curfew. No matter the age, we all share deep bonds with our mothers and Mother’s Day is all about making them feel special. The students of class XI expressed their love for their mothers through handmade Mother’s Day cards with sweet messages, baking cakes and puddings- to
say why moms need to be celebrated.
